Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Innovation and Entrepreneurship are valuable skill sets whether your goals are starting a company or pushing your research to the next level. Educating the students in ECE on Innovation and Entrepreneurship will broaden their mindsets and increase the diversity of outcomes for the graduate students in the ECE Department.

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship workgroup will be working with other organizations within BU to identify the programs and resources that will help allow the graduate students to take their work beyond the lab. Additionally, the group will be working towards creating resources and organizing events that are focused specifically on the personal demographics, industries, and scientific fields relevant to those in the ECE department. 

With these programs and resources, we hope to cultivate a more innovation-minded culture in the ECE Department so that hopefully we can see our research have a greater impact on the world around us.
