I am particularly interested in how people responded to different environmental events, such as drought or soil salinity, and the socio-political and economical changes that may have resulted.<\/p>\n<h3>Projects<\/h3>\n<p>UROP, Kaymak\u00e7\u0131 Archaeological Project:<br \/>\nI work under the supervision of Professor John M. Marston on the archaeobotanical material collected from Kaymak\u00e7\u0131, a Bronze Age citadel site in western Turkey.<\/p>\n<h3>Conference Presentations<\/h3>\n<p>Shin, Nami, and John M.
