Lorena at the University of Michigan
Lorena was a SURF (Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship) student in 2012. She is now a graduate student in the Biomedical Sciences program at the University of Michigan. She is in the Pathology program currently working in a cancer genomics laboratory focused on translational research.

Amalia now a postdoc at the CReM
Dr. Amalia Capilla is a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology with expertise in planar cell polarity pathways in Drosophila melanogaster and in tissue regeneration. Amalia was a visiting postdoctoral scientist in the Dominguez lab in the summer of 2015 studying the regulation of Wnt signaling by CK2.
