Jarred Mondoñedo

Jarred R. Mondoñedo is a thoracic surgery resident at the University of Michigan Department of Surgery.  He graduated from the MD/PhD program at Boston University School of Medicine and Department of Biomedical Engineering working under Professor Béla Suki.  He was also a Translational Research in Biomaterials (TRB) Fellow and has received MS and BS degrees in Biomedical Engineering at Boston University in 2013 and 2011, respectively.  His research interests include biomechanical determinants of COPD progression, lung volume reduction treatment for emphysema, and mechanical ventilator strategies for inhaled drug delivery.
