Chris Fernald
Director, Medical Campus Facilities (FMO)
Chris started as the Boston University Medical Campus Director of Facilities in 2023.
As a graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and former employee of the New England Aquarium, he is fascinated with the world of water, its animals, and its environments. A lifelong resident of Boston’s South Shore, Chris enjoys diving along its shores, hiking along its many trails, and spending as much time with his family as possible.
DEI matters to Chris because he has seen when its principles were put in practice, they provided access to opportunities to people who then went on to be great leaders, colleagues and friends.
