Ben Awuah

Benedict Awuah, Assistant Director of Building Automation for CPO, has been with the University since 2019. Before his current role, he helped maintain the building automation on campus as a controls engineer working with contract and in-house technicians.  

Biking aimlessly around the Arnold Arboretum has become one of Ben’s favorite things to do in the summer.

Ben believes that DEI means creating a workplace where everyone, despite differing backgrounds and experiences like his, feels comfortable expressing themselves. It’s recognizing that our diverse journeys define us, ensuring equal opportunities, respect, and a sense of belonging for all, regardless of their individual paths.
