Rinka Murakami

Rinka is an MPH candidate studying epidemiology and biostatistics, entering her last year in the 5 year BS/MPH program. Her interests include infectious disease prevention and informing policy decisions with public health data. In the past, she has studied the response to the Ebola pandemic and worked on the COVID-19 response team as a contact tracer at the Boston Public Health Commission. Originally from California, Rinka enjoys wine tasting and film photography.
