Joy (Hongjin) Xu

Joy is an SPH alumna. She completed her MPH and concentrated in Healthcare Management and Epidemiology & Biostatistics. She worked as a Data Analyst Intern at Massachusetts General Hospital Institute for Technology Assessment in a System Dynamics model project and was a part-time Data Manager at Biostatistics & Epidemiology Data Analytics Center for a year at school. Prior to attending BU, Joy obtained her Bachelor of Clinical Medicine from Central South University Xiangya School of Medicine. Joy is passionate about healthcare analytics and believes in the power of data and innovation. Besides public health, Joy is interested in technology, history, and political issues.
