Professional Development

The BU Wheelock Consortium is a partnership between Boston-area educators (from the public school districts of Boston, Brookline, Chelsea, Everett, Framingham, Lexington, Newton, and Somerville) and Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. One of our efforts is to offer local educators professional development opportunities that meet the needs of their classrooms and schools and align with district efforts and priorities. These opportunities would be online for easy accessibility and would draw upon the knowledge and expertise of educators in districts as well as faculty at Boston University. The professional development would be available to, and attended by, educators across all 8 districts simultaneously. To that end, we are soliciting ideas for what professional development themes would be most helpful for educators.
