My project has focused on understanding the mechanism behind a small molecule inhibitor that blocks virus replication. I am taking a biochemical approach to map the compound\u2019s ability to block virus replication at the transcription\/translation step and cell biology approaches to track where the small molecule inhibitor is located within the cell.
