Diana is a Fulbright Scholar from 2021 cohort. She graduated with honors with a BSc in Psychology and a MSc in Neuroscience from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogotá. During her masters she was awarded a traineeship in neuropathology of Alzheimer’s disease in Germany. After graduation she worked as a neuropsychologist and study coordinator studying disruption of functional connectivity in patients with impaired consciousness after acute brain injury at ICU. Before joining GPN she was trainee at the Physiology of Cognition Lab at the University of Liège where she developed a passion for French, belgian beer, and functional connectivity disruption of large-scale human brain networks. Outside of academia, she is a cat mom avid for role-playing video games, backpaking, riding motorbike and joining forces towards gender equality.
