Climate change-related impacts in childhood can have lifelong consequences due to effects on learning, physical health, and housing security. A new national-scale, multi-sector EPA report showcases some of the ways children are especially vulnerable to a variety of health effects from climate change due to physical, cognitive, behavioral, and social factors. This new report features a <a href=\"https:\/\/ehp.niehs.nih.gov\/doi\/full\/10.1289\/EHP8083\">study<\/a> published by partnering faculty of the Center for Climate Health on the association between warm season and emergency department visits to children&#8217;s hospitals in the US.
