Ahead of the first heat wave in New England, <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/climateandhealth\/profile\/patricia-fabian\/\">Patricia Fabian<\/a> joined the NPR show <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2025\/06\/21\/nx-s1-5439453\/parts-of-the-us-are-facing-heatwaves-heres-how-they-affect-vulnerable-populations\">&#8220;All Things Considered&#8221;<\/a> to discuss the ways in which extreme heat can affect vulnerable populations, and how best to prepare and respond to heat emergencies.
