This novel research combines methodology from climate science to understand future heat extremes, demography to track population change, and public health approaches to understand social inequities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs the planet heats up, those least able to cope will suffer the most,\u201d says lead author Zachary Popp.<\/p>\n<p>Authors include Gregory Wellenius, Ian Sue Wing, and Kevin Lane. This exciting project was supported by the Hariri Institute for Computing, Boston University Focused Research Program.
