Currently, I focus on the pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases in patients and conduct experiments to improve the imaging and biomarkers in subjects with kidney disease and COVID-19. One particular disease that I am intrigued by and have learned about is calciphylaxis, the accumulation of calcium in small blood vessels.
