We\u2019re really glad that we got such a good turn out at this meeting and would like to thank you all for coming, with especial thanks to Dr. Deborah Perlstein for her research presentation and to Dr. John Snyder for explaining the process for getting involved in research as an undergrad.<\/p>\n<p>For anybody that couldn\u2019t make it, here\u2019s what you missed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Merck trip will be on Friday, December 2. See the tab above for more information.<\/li>\n<li>How to go about joining a research group. The process is pretty easy\u2013look up the different research projects at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/chemistry\/undergrad\/research\/\">Chemistry Research Website<\/a>, see what you like best, and then contact a professor and ask to join their research group! The rest is paperwork that your new research advisor will be able to assist you with.
