Welcome to Chemia!
Chemia is the undergraduate chemistry student organization at Boston University. We offer free tutoring for General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry (and occasionally Biochemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Inorganic Chemistry). We also host events like information sessions about research opportunities and graduate school for students. Follow our Instagram @buchemia for the most up to date information!
We tutor on Mondays and Thursdays from 6pm-8pm in SCI103A (the room across from SCI109). More information about tutoring can be found on the “tutoring” page.
New updates about our organization can be found below.

Dr. Cueny Research Talk
Chemia will be hosting a research talk given by Dr. Eric Cueny! The event will be held this Thursday, April 6th from 7pm-8pm in SCI 117. He will talk about his own research focusing on organometallic chemistry and about how to get involved in research on campus. Oh, and pizza will be provided :)
Chemia Grad Panel
Chemia's next event will be geared towards current chemistry majors but anyone who's interested is also encouraged to attend! You will get a chance to hear from chemistry graduates about their career path and journey. Panelists will include a medical student, an industry chemist, a professor at BU, and a PhD candidate at BU. All of the panelists graduated with a degree in chemistry and hopefully they can provide some insight on the various career paths available to chemistry majors!
We hope to see you there!
