Preksha Ashk

Preksha Ashk is a first year  MSW student at the BU School of Social Work. By pursuing her MSW in the Clinical track, Preksha hopes to gain the skills necessary to make historically-inaccessible mental health services available to vulnerable, underserved youth populations, primarily those from marginalized communities. Prior to her foray into marketing, Preksha worked as an Assistant Teacher at the Angrignon School, a school for children with behavioral difficulties at the Douglas Mental Health Institute in Montreal, QC, Canada. Preksha received her B.A. in Psychology with a double minor in Behavioral Science and the Social Studies of Medicine from McGill University, also in Montreal.
