Dr. Kendall Morris
Dr. Kendall Gayle Morris is a Dean’s Research Associate at Michigan State University in the College of Social Science and School of Social Work. She obtained her PhD in Social Work from Boston University in May 2022. She previously served as the Lab Manager for the CFACCT Lab. Previously, she obtained her Master of Social Work Degree in 2016 and her Bachelor of Science in 2015 both from the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on the impact of violence and trauma in Black neighborhoods. She hopes to in the future create interventions that will aid Black individuals and families experiencing complex trauma and exposure to violence heal and get the culturally relevant support that is desperately needed.
