Welcome to our website! Our major focus is the Childhood Experience and Cortisol Study, directed by Professor Kathleen Malley-Morrison of the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Boston University, Boston, MA.

This study is looking at how childhood experiences affect later physiological responses to acute stress in emerging adults. We are focusing on maltreatment and later developmental outcomes via emotional regulation. Specifically, we use several different biological indicators to measure the participants’ stress response.
