Adam Godel wins the Student Research Competition at SOSP’26

Congratulations to Adam Godel for winning 1st place at the Student Research Competition (undergraduate category) that took place at SOSP’26!

Adam presented his research project on closing the data alignment gap in secure analytics systems. Recent systems, like ORQ (SOSP’25), CryptDough (SOSP’26) and others, have made secure collaborative analytics systems both faster and easier to use but they all assume that input data from multiple owners are aligned and complete, i.e. they adhere to the same schema and have no missing values. However, real data is messy. Adam’s work addresses this problem with a framework that performs data cleaning tasks securely, under MPC.

Adam’s work removes a significant barrier in making end-to-end secure MPC analytics practical and makes secure collaboration easier than ever.
