We are also a clinical research facility with the overall mission to promote greater health and quality of life by developing and disseminating evidence-based treatments for those who need them most.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u00a0is Behavioral Medicine?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In contrast to the illnesses that were highly prevalent at the turn of the last century, most of the health problems of today are caused by the way we live our lives and the choices we make.\u00a0 Behavioral Medicine focuses on the interaction between behavior and health.
