It\u00a0will be based in the BMC newborn nursery and inpatient pediatrics units in collaboration with BMC Volunteer Services. Non-pharmacologic care, including infant holding, has been shown to significantly improve NAS outcomes, reducing the need for pharmacologic treatment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nina Gummadi (&#8217;19) and Leonie Hoyo (&#8217;20) will serve as student leaders for the program for 2016-2017.
