Scholar’s Night – Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome

At our latest Scholar's Night on December 10, 2018, Jamie Lim (M4) gave an engaging presentation on Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS)/Pediatric Substance Abuse Disorder.  Serving as a topic expert and sharing her experience as well was Dr. Eileen Costello.  The event was held at Dr. Rachel Thompson's lovely home and attended by many BUSM students, ranging from M1s to M4s.  We all learned a lot of new clinical pearls from Jamie's case based discussion about a baby with NAS.

Thanks to everyone who participated and made this Winter Scholar's Night such a great experience!  Hope to see you all again at the next one!

Another successful Rodman Ride is in the books!  This year Team BUSM consisted of a group of 35 medical students from all 4 years.  Through everyone's hard work and fundraising efforts, we raised over $16,000 to help pediatric patients at BMC!  And it's safe to say we all had a blast gettin' some cardio in on this beautiful day, September 22, 2018.

Thank you to everyone who helped with all of our fundraisers, including bake sales, T-shirt sales, and events at Howl at the Moon and Lansdowne Pub!  And to everyone who pedaled hard for a good cause!
