Scholar’s Night – Poverty and Child Health
BUSM M4 Gen Guyol led a great discussion and case study examining the effects of poverty on child health at our most recent Scholar’s Night on November 30. Dr. Arvin Garg of the Department of Pediatrics and Office of Student Affairs was in attendance to serve as a faculty expert on the topic.
This was our first Scholar’s Night of 2016-17. The event was held at Dr. Elizabeth Yellen’s house, and attended by ten BUSM students ranging from first to fourth years, as well as Chief Resident of the BCRP Dr. Camila Mateo and PEDS faculty advisor, Dr. Rachel Thompson.
Thanks to everyone who attended and we hope to see everyone at the next one!
