He is studying neuroscience and French on the Pre- Medical track. Before going to Tulane University, Sai worked with Lisa at the Bryant lab the summer of 2015, genotyping F2 mice. And now this summer, he is collaborating with Lisa on identifying a genetic basis for oxycodone-induced locomotor activity, specifically identifying genes on chromosomes 1 and 7. At Tulane School of Medicine, Sai is working as a research assistant at Dr. Zadina\u2019s lab, where the research focus is on morphine addiction and finding an analgesic to reduce the addictive effects of morphine while providing the pain- relieving effects.
