Summer Series 2020
Welcome to the BMES Summer Series!
During the summer of 2020, amid the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are taking action to ensure that students are still receiving resources and opportunities to gain more skills and to learn about future career paths.
Each workshop is an hour long and is free and open to all engineering students! All events will be recorded and uploaded HERE after the event.
CAD WORKSHOP
Get familiar with Onshape, an online CAD program, in this interactive workshop. This will be an introduction to Onshape with step-by-step instructions on how to get your foot in the door with the skills for prototyping and computer-aided design.
When: Thursday, 6/25 @ 6 PM EST
MATLAB WORKSHOP
Join us for an interactive workshop to build on your MATLAB skills with basic data analysis, data interpretation, and image processing. This workshop will be helpful for people who have taken EK125 and wish to revisit and solidify their MATLAB skills.
When: Wednesday, 7/8 @7 PM EST
REGENERATIVE MEDICINE AND TISSUE ENGINEERING BMES PANEL
We invite you to join a panel of experts in the field of Regenerative Medicine and Tissue Engineering from Clemson University, Boston University, and Humacyte to learn all about this cutting edge field of organ and tissue regeneration. This one hour panel will take place towards the end of July.
