Application Process

Applications for the PATS Program open each summer for any available positions. Each year, the department prioritizes particular teaching needs, but candidates from all biological disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biology or a related biomedical science, or in Biology Education.
• Interest and/or experience in undergraduate teaching.
• Ability to teach introductory biology, human/mammalian physiology, or biochemistry laboratories is desirable but not required.
• A research or curriculum development plan aligned with one or more BU Biology faculty members.
