Seven Weeks Across Northern Greenland
Dr. Nathan Stewart embarked on a seven-week sampling expedition across the Greenlandic ice sheet with his twin brother, Mike Stewart and their friend Chris Polashenski, a research geophysicist and the principal investigator on the traverse. They measured a number of variables relevant to the massive melt that occurred on the ice sheet last year, and their blogĀ “Sunlight Absorption on the Greenland ice sheet Experiment (SAGE),” provides unique insight into the science, travel logistics, and day-to-day life while they were there.
