Graduate Student Presented at Meeting in Cancun
Daphne Schatzberg presented a poster describing the BMP movement/mathematical modeling work at the Society for Dev. Biol. Meeting on June 18th in Cancun. Daphne is a graduate student in the Cell and Molecular program in the lab of Dr. Cyndi Bradham. She was among a handful of students selected as a finalist for the best poster award, from about 200 posters! This was a general international meeting, so it is quite an accomplishment regarding this work from the larger community. The winner of the final competition won a free trip to the Dev. Bio meeting in London. Congratulations Daphne for making it to finals; that is quite an honor!
