In this course, students will learn to apply insights from behavioral economics to effectively produce it. In teams, students will<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Learn to translate a real-time business or policy challenge into a specific behavior change project, and develop a proposal to the organization<\/li>\n<li>Conduct research (literature review, field observation, interviews with experts and stakeholders, etc.) to understand the context in which the behavior or decision take place<\/li>\n<li>Learn how to audit the decision-making process of various stakeholders to identify pain points and opportunities for behavior change.<\/li>\n<li>Use the frameworks presented in class along with research from economics, psychology, marketing, and other related disciplines to develop possible interventions and\/or frameworks for addressing the challenge.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and summarize resources and findings in a detailed white paper report.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Previous partner organizations that provided projects for students to work on include: the World Bank, FCLT Global, CUBIC Save The Children, Barbarian, etc.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Course descriptions and learning goals Every organization \u2013 be it for profit, government, or welfare agency \u2013 is in the business of changing behavior.
