I am originally from Kathmandu, Nepal. I pursued my undergraduate degree from the University of Maine. During my undergraduate research, I investigated the effect of antifungal fluconazole on the fungus, Candida albicans, during co-cultures with the bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa. I am currently working as a research assistant in the Alani Lab where my interests include cancer epigenetics and drug therapy resistance. My hobbies include reading, watching TV shows and trying new foods.
