Jennifer Smallwood, MPH is a Biostatistician at the Center for Clinical Translational Epidemiology and Comparative Effectiveness Research. Since 2008, she has been the primary analyst for numerous research studies within the departments of Rheumatology, Psychiatry and Advanced Heart Disease at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Her primary research interests include psychiatric and mental health outcomes research.

Currently, Jennifer is working on several projects for the TEC department and soon will be conducting the very first analyses of the Boston Emergency Services Team (BEST) program. Under the leadership of Boston Medical Center and with the support of the Massachusetts Behavioral Health Partnership, the BEST program provides a highly integrated system of crisis evaluation and treatment services to the Boston and Greater Boston area. There are over 15 years of qualitative and quantitative data available which will provide incredible insight into the value of this program.

Jennifer received her MPH at Boston University’s School of Public Health in 2008 and her BSc in Behavioral Neuroscience at Northeastern University in 1998.
