Maura Walker received an MS and PhD in Biochemical and Molecular Nutrition from Tufts University. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Section of Preventive Medicine and Epidemiology and works with investigators from both Tufts and Boston University to conduct research in the Framingham Heart Study. Her research focuses on relationships between diet quality, cardiometabolic risk factors and chronic disease, with an emphasis on dietary fat and fatty acid biomarkers.
