Activities

Throughout the week, participants of the Summer Institute will also participate in case-based discussions, a career panel, a lunch with the Geriatric Fellowship Director, and make a house call with a clinician on the Boston Medical Center Home Care team. There will also be a dinner with Dr. Becky Silliman. There are numerous formal and informal opportunities for participants to get to know faculty and staff.

Participants are encouraged to explore the city of Boston while here for the week! In the past, participants have gone on duck tours, attended a Red Sox game, and walked the Freedom Trail.

Research Proposals

Throughout the week, the participants are split into research groups and given an adviser. On the final day of conference, the groups will present to a panel of experienced researchers and given feedback.
