1) Save the Date: End of the Year Celebration at 21st Amendment!

|What:||Imagine a time when alcohol was prohibited… Thankfully we no longer live in these dark, backward times! This year’s end of the year celebration will be at 21st Amendment in downtown Boston! Excited to be a rising 2L? Can’t wait to start 3LOLing? Graduating and ready to celebrate being done with law school? Well then, I guess we’ll be seeing everyone FRIDAY, MAY 6, 2016 AT 10:00PM at 21ST AMENDMENT!|
2) Summer Tour Guides Needed!

|Where:||BU School of Law|
|What:||In Boston for the summer with a flexible work schedule? The Admissions Office is looking to hire current students to offer tours for prospective students over the summer months. The time commitment is not expended to extend beyond 2 hours per week, though additional hours may be possible if student schedules permit. 3) Working for BU Law This Summer?

|What:||Working for BU Law this summer? You will be required to complete the Form I-9 before beginning work. Visit Kealin McCormick in room 1102M or on April 18th from Noon-1:30 at a table outside the café to complete this requirement. Details regarding what you will need to bring in order to complete your I-9 can be found here: http://www.bu.edu/law/current-students/jd-student-resources/student-employment/. 4) Lawyers Have Heart 5K
|When:||From Monday, April 18, 2016, 12:00 PM to Friday, April 22, 2016, 12:00 PM|
|What:||Join the Boston University School of Law team at the Lawyers Have Heart 5K. The team is open to all alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends of BU Law. You can run or walk the 5K or choose to attend only the summer celebration. Proceeds from the race benefit the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association. Event Details: Wednesday, June 8, 2016 Blue Hills Bank Pavilion (start & finish area) $65 registration fee includes race entry with finisher medal & post race summer celebration with a barbecue, 2 beer tickets, and live music (participants who fundraise $100 in addition to their entry fee will receive a race t-shirt) $40 admission tickets for the summer celebration only are also available Event Schedule: 6:00 – 7:00pm – Registration 7:00 – 8:00pm – 5K Road Race 7:30 – 9:30pm – Post-Race Summer Celebration For more information, registration, and donations, go to http://lhh2016.kintera.org/ Click “Register Here” then “Join a Team” and search for the “Boston University School of Law” team. The race has filled to capacity in recent years so sign up early.|
5) Otto’s Night with PIP

|What:||BU Law’s Public Interest Project is partnering with Otto Pizza again this year for a Patriot’s Day fundraiser! Otto, as a part of its Good Food Good Causes fundraising program, is donating a percentage of its profits earned between 5 and 9 pm that evening to support PIP. This includes dine-in, takeout, merchandise, and gift card sales. All donations go directly to funding grants for your fellow law students working in unpaid public interest internships this summer. After enjoying the marathon (and a long day of studying for finals…) take a pizza break and support a great cause! (Yes, they deliver to the Tower!) Questions?
