What: Want to do away with your winter wardrobe? Get a jump start to your spring cleaning! All clothing donations will benefit the Waltham House, which provides supports to homeless transgender and gender noncomforming individuals. PLEASE NOTE: All items must be washed and in good condition. Thank you!!

4) Debating Heller: The Second Amendment as an Individual Right

Where: Redstone Room 101
What: Join the Federalist Society for our major end-of-the-year capstone debate! Professor Nelson Lund from George Mason School of Law will debate our very own Professor Jim Fleming over the following proposition: whether the Second Amendment guarantees an individual right to keep and bear arms? Especially in light of Justice Scalia’s passing, the Heller holding may be up in the air and is always the subject of a fascinating debate. We will be serving FREE OTTO’S PIZZA! Come for the riveting debate, stay for the free food. Co-sponsored by ACS

5) Business Law Society Elections

What: Business Law Society Elections will take place on Monday, April 11, at 1:00PM in Room 204. Candidates for each of the executive board positions will have the opportunity to give a short speech followed by voting and food. Please make sure to come out and support your classmates running for BLS positions!

6) Lawyers Have Heart 5K

When: From Monday, April 11, 2016, 3:00 PM to Friday, April 15, 2016, 1:00 AM
Where: Blue Hills Bank Pavilion
What: Join the Boston University School of Law team at the Lawyers Have Heart 5K. The team is open to all alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends of BU Law. You can run or walk the 5K or choose to attend only the summer celebration. Proceeds from the race benefit the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association. Event Details: Wednesday, June 8, 2016 Blue Hills Bank Pavilion (start & finish area) $65 registration fee includes race entry with finisher medal & post race summer celebration with a barbecue, 2 beer tickets, and live music (participants who fundraise $100 in addition to their entry fee will receive a race t-shirt) $40 admission tickets for the summer celebration only are also available Event Schedule: 6:00 – 7:00pm – Registration 7:00 – 8:00pm – 5K Road Race 7:30 – 9:30pm – Post-Race Summer Celebration For more information, registration, and donations, go to http://lhh2016.kintera.org/ Click “Register Here” then “Join a Team” and search for the “Boston University School of Law” team. 8) CESLA Bake Sale

9) Immigration Law and Policy Society Board Elections

What: Want to get more involved with club activities? Run for the 2016-2017 board for the Immigration Law and Policy Society. 12) American Constitution Society Elections

When: Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Where: Room 203
What: American Constitution Society will be holding elections on Thursday, April 14th, at 1 pm in room 203. The election will be for the following positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Constitution in the Classroom Chair, Constitution in the Classroom Vice-Chair, Academics Director, and Historian. All positions are open to rising 2Ls and rising 3Ls. There will be a limited amount of pizza provided on a first come first serve. If you are interested in running for a position or are looking for additional information, please contact Brandon Li at bli@bu.edu. Please also contact Brandon if you would like to run for a position but can’t attend the election meeting.

What: We have arrived at the end of our programming for the year. We know all of you are busy with school and work so we wanted to have an event to bring some delicious, free, Hawaiian food to your mouths and give you an opportunity to take a quick study break. The time commitment is not expended to extend beyond 2 hours per week, though additional hours may be possible if student schedules permit. 19) Otto’s Night with PIP

Where: OTTO, 888 Commonwealth Avenue, Brookline, MA 02446
What: BU Law’s Public Interest Project is partnering with Otto Pizza again this year for a Patriot’s Day fundraiser! Otto, as a part of its Good Food Good Causes fundraising program, is donating a percentage of its profits earned between 5 and 9 pm that evening to support PIP. This includes dine-in, takeout, merchandise, and gift card sales. All donations go directly to funding grants for your fellow law students working in unpaid public interest internships this summer. After enjoying the marathon (and a long day of studying for finals…) take a pizza break and support a great cause! (Yes, they deliver to the Tower!) Questions?
