Hi! I’m John, a senior astronomy and physics major from Florida. For the past three years I’ve been making “pretty” images (and more recently movies) of black holes. In my free time, I keep up with all things comics and fantasy, go kayaking and hiking a bunch, and run the astronomical society at BU. I also like math.

Hi! I’m Sophie, I am a senior majoring in astronomy & physics as well as painting. I’m from outside of Boston, and I love art, books, hiking, and soccer. I also love ice cream and have it almost every day.

Hi! I’m Katya and I’m a junior majoring in Physics and Astronomy and minoring in Deaf Studies. My research experience is in observational high energy astronomy including AGN and supernovae. I also teach AP Physics to Boston Public High Schoolers as part of Project Accelerate and am involved with Women in Physics. Outside of physics I am on the Irish dance team and enjoy Marvel comics, mangoes, musicals, and long walks on the Charles River Esplanade.

Hi, I’m Sal and I’m from Buffalo, New York. I am a junior physics major and a former mathematics major. I have contributed to research on experimental neutrino physics and am currently doing research on chaos theory. In my free time I enjoy running, listening to and playing punk music, playing board and computer games, and spending too much money at Starbucks (It’s an issue).
