Jessica Allan

I’m Jess and I’m a senior physics major at BU. Originally from Newcastle, England, I moved to the USA three years ago. I’m also an RA for the Women in Science and Engineering house, and I enjoy helping women feel welcomed in the department. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling with the BU cycling team, and watching Formula one and premier league football (soccer).

I’m Nate and I’m a junior astronomy and physics major from central New Jersey. I play ultimate frisbee and ice hockey and am training to be the very best like no one ever was.

Maria Mucci

My name is Maria and I’m a senior originally from Long Island. My main interest in physics is in condensed matter and biophysics, particularly where the two overlap. I have just returned from the Geneva Study Abroad program and am president of Alpha Chi Sigma, a coed professional fraternity based in the sciences. Around campus I like to try new coffees, cook, and people watch.

Madeleine O’Keefe

Maddie O’Keefe is a junior majoring in astronomy and physics. She is currently developing a method to more efficiently search for exoplanets around ultracool dwarfs. In her spare time, Maddie enjoys acting, reading, and introducing her non-Chicagoan friends to giardiniera.

I am a senior Physics and Computer Science Major, Math minor from the South Shore of Massachusetts. I love trying new foods and restaurants and, occasionally, trying to cook myself!

Dan is a Junior Astronomy & Physics major. He likes science fiction, classic rock, Antarctica, DC Comics, and all things astrophysics.

I am a junior physics major doing research in high energy particle physics at Fermilab. I like coffee, cats, kayaking, cycling, and annoying my friends.

I’m Glenn, and I’m a senior physics and astronomy major with a math minor. I grew up in the town of Harvard in central Massachusetts (no relation to the university), and I like running, hiking, pick-up sports, and playing with telescopes.
