Ishwar receives Google Research Award

Prof. Ishwar together with Prof. Margrit Betke (CS) and Prof. Lei Guo (Emerging Media Studies) receive a Google Faculty Research Award in the category “Information Retrieval and Real Time Content” for joint research for a project to develop machine learning and human computing methods for news aggregators to ensure that they present balanced real-time content representing diverse political perspectives to their users.
