Technology Resources

The Department of Occupational Therapy has several technology resources available for student* use for Level I fieldwork, GLE, independent study, doctoral experiential projects, and other purposes with faculty permission. Please click on an item below to view a description of the software/apps available.

*Please note that these resources are only available to current BU OT students and faculty.

• 2 iPads
• 1 iPad Pro
  • iPad Applications (For iPad Mini and Pro)
• 1 Assistive Technology Laptop
  • Assistive Technology Laptop Software

 

OT Department iPad Rules

• iPads for GLE use must be reserved in advance, by sending an email to OTinfo@bu.edu
• iPads are for use by OT department members only.
• OT Students can use the iPads for Fieldwork and coursework.
• OT Faculty can check out iPads for class or research.
• iPads can only be checked out for a maximum of 24 hours.
• No weekend iPad checkout is permitted. (They must be returned by the end of the day Friday)
