Nutritional Epidemiology Research

As a registered dietitian trained at the doctoral level in epidemiology, Dr. Quatromoni has specialized expertise and a broad skill set that allows her to work independently as well as collaboratively. Research initiatives in clinical, community or public health settings require the expertise of a nutrition professional when developing nutrition education, designing behavioral interventions, examining health outcomes, or planning research meals for feeding studies. Others require the skills of a nutritional epidemiologist to design and implement valid methodologies to collect food and nutrient exposure information necessary to test hypotheses about diet in relation to risk factors or health outcomes. Dr. Quatromoni is uniquely qualified and versatile as a colleague who works collaboratively across a variety of exciting initiatives with research partners within Boston University, across the U.S., and internationally.
