Professor Hongliu Yu Visit

This summer, the NRL welcomes Prof. Hongliu Yu of the Institute of Rehabilitative Engineering & Technology, and the School of Medical Instrument and Food Engineering at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology in Shanghai, China on July 29th.

Dr. Steve Wolf’s Movement Retraining Lecture

Our lab was excited to host his visit to Sargent College, the Wyss Institute, and Spaulding Rehabilitation Network! Senior Thesis Design Review Presentation

12/2018 - Congratulations to Eduardo Cedona, a senior studying bioengineering at Harvard University, on his successful senior thesis design review presentation in which he discusses his work developing wearable sensor system to measure poststroke gait parameters.

Spotlight of the Week #8

12/2018 - This Spotlight of the Week goes to graduate researcher Ashlyn Aiello! Ashlyn is a Master's Student in Mechanical Engineering who also completed her undergraduate studies in biomedical engineering with a concentration in nanotechnology and a minor in mechanical engineering at the College of Engineering. In the lab, she is working on integrating functional electrical stimulation (FES) with soft exosuits to enhance the effect of rehabilitation robotics. Ashlyn used to play goalie on BU’s Division I Women's Ice Hockey team!
