The work of Shaykh Ahmad al-Tijani are discussed, including his unique ability to lead people to God. The manuscript elaborates upon some traditions of the Tijaniyya, including dressing in white, sitting around a circle inside a mosque, and the daily wazifa (recitation of special prayers). The latter is combined with the mandatory zikr for the followers of the Tijaniyya. |
