| Content | This is a collection of several documents. The first document is a letter of impeachment of a local leader written on behalf of the twelve communities that form the region of Pita in Guinea. The letter provides the rationale behind the person’s removal from his position due to his committing of a crime. The second document is a recommendation to the community based on the vision of a leader called Shaykh Ahmadu Faal, and the need to share this vision to the wider Muslim world. The rest of the documents include letters between family members, those requesting loans or charity for those in need, and even requests for sugar for the month of Ramadan. The last letter is from a father asking someone to serve as a surrogate parent to his daughter who has moved to a new community because of her marriage. |
