Music performances, the study of music, and opportunities for music-making abound across the campus of Boston University both formally and informally.  Students may major or minor in music, with or without performance as a focus; take courses in music history, music appreciation, music theory, popular music, or jazz; take lessons; and participate in choral or instrumental ensembles – symphonic chorus, concert band, marching band, jazz band, flute ensemble, winter percussion, and many others.

Here is a link to all the musical organizations that are supported by the Student Activities Office.
