Classes: Lectures and Discussion Sections

There are 24 lectures in EC101 DD/EE, 1 hour 20 minutes each.  I explain the most important material in lecture, and exams are focused on lecture material. Students should use the textbook to help you understand the material presented in lecture. Links to the Course Schedule, Lecture Outlines and  Aplia (ebook and problems) are available under the CLASSES heading.  I strongly recommend that you check these web pages and the website announcements frequently–at least every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Discussion sections, 50 minutes long, meet once each week.  Each section contains about 27 students who are asked to participate in discussion of the material.  Discussion sections are led by Teaching Fellows (TFs), advanced graduate students from the Economics Ph.D. program.  A Senior TF acts as the chief administrator of the course.
