On June 16, 2021, my PhD student M. Ozan Tezcan has successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled “Deep Learning Methods for Background Subtraction and People Detection” and will join Facebook Research this summer.
Prof. Konrad delivered an IEEE Signal Processing Society Distinguished Lecture on Dec. 14, 2020 at the Winter School on Visual Image Search and Video Analytics (VISVA-2020) organized at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
