Provider and Patient Level Factors and Substance Use Disorder Treatment Among Black Adults

This study aims to improve the engagement and completion of SUD treatment for Black adults by collaborating with clinical and community agencies who interact with Black adults with substance use concerns in two large metropolitan areas in the U.S. – Boston, Massachusetts and Indianapolis, Indiana. The study team will interview clinic staff/leadership and Black adults with substance use concerns to better understand the barriers and facilitators regarding engagement and completion of SUD services for Black adults.
