Come paint and carve pumpkins to be donated to different shelters and community centers in the Boston area! This is a great way to spend time volunteering with your friends on BU’s campus.  We hope to see you there!

Halloween Open Mic Night

Come by the HER House at 191 Bay State Road at 6 pm on Friday, October 25th to enjoy some live music, cool people, and good vibes. Anyone and everyone is welcome to perform (music, poetry, anything!) and/or watch and enjoy! We also have some awesome local bands lined up: HouseGuests, Harmoos, Hall of Mirrors, Polaroids, Frank and Dependent, Summer of Aden, and The Symptoms.

From twisted clowns to horrifying skeletons and zombies, we promise to deliver an experience that will keep you up at night! This year will feature a torture theme as well as a professional make-up artist!

Beyond Comm Ave: SoWa Dia de los Muertos
October 27: 11 a.m.
Description: Join the Howard Thurman Center in an excursion to the SoWa Open Market’s Dia de los Muertos. Compete in the costume contest or just browse the various wares from local artisans, craftsmen, and farmers. Departure from the HTC at 11 a.m. Group will be walking about one mile. Trick-or-Treat Around the World

Come to the HTC for treats from around the world! Costume optional.

Trick or Can
October 30th, 4-6:30 pm
The purpose of Trick-or-Can is to collect non-perishable goods from local residents to be donated to the Boston CANshare Food Drive to help those living with hunger. Students, dressed in Halloween costumes, go to the communities surrounding the University to collect canned and dry goods.
You need at least three people for a Trick-Or-Can Team! Before you sign up, make sure to talk to you team, and decide on a name and a team leader who can be contacted. You will all sign up SEPARATELY. If you can’t find a team of three, but would still like to participate, please e-mail ct@bu.edu.
